Brazil Updates Regulations for Infant Formula Label Claim and Nutrients Limit
On June 5, 2025, the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) issued Normative Instruction No. 367, amending the list of ingredients, usage restrictions, and claims for infant formula, nutritional formulas for high-risk newborns, follow-up foods for infants and young children, enteral nutritional formulas, and dietary treatment formulas for congenital metabolic disorders. The regulation came into effect on the date of publication.
